Macbook Air – Sheer Thinnovation

The rumoured Macbook Air has finally been officially unveiled at this year’s Macworld 2008. Overall, the notebook is beautifully designed and looks amazing. However, for "real world" use, I think the Macbook Air is impractical.

The biggest flaws are the inbuilt battery. The battery is not user accessible and has to be replaced by Apple. The other major flaw is a lack of USB ports. The Macbook Air supports only one USB port. Despite, these obvious flaws, the machine is an engineering masterpiece. I’m looking forward to have a play with the "Air" as soon as they are available at the Apple Store.
